  • It is ok to feel a bit nervous for your first appointment. This is an incredible step into a new direction. Although you may be ready to hit the ground running, the first appointment is what we call an “intake.” We are setting the foundation, getting to know each other, identifying goals, and completing an assessment so we can tailor treatment specifically to your needs and goals.

  • Yes, we do! Let us know your preference when you talk to a clinician. You are welcome to do hybrid as well. All consultations are done via telehealth.

  • All online appointments are conducted through our secure platform with your privacy and protection in mind. You can use a smart phone or any other computer device. You get a link after scheduling and you are good to go! Please note that all telehealth sessions are video/audio and not exclusively over the phone due to safety concerns.

  • This depends entirely on your needs, frequency of treatment, motivation, and specific situation. Most of our clients hang around for 6-12 months since we are embarking on a new lifestyle journey. Some also stay longer with decreased frequency to maintain success as needed. There is no right or wrong and this will be an ongoing conversation in therapy with your therapist to keep meeting your needs.

  • As a client you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” per the No Surprises Act at the start of service. This estimate explains how much your medical care will cost.

    • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

    • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing before your medical service. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

    • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
