Here to help calm anxious thoughts and transform relationships

If you are here, you are tired of feeling stuck and frustrated with the way things are. Worry, frustration, and overwhelm have been circling you for a while, and you don’t know what to do about it to break the cycle. Self-doubt and overthinking aren’t getting you anywhere, and yet it is terrifying to seek help with things you feel you should already know how to handle. Whether it is the paralysis and loneliness of anxiety or feeling at a loss within your relationship, you are looking for a therapist who “gets it” and can help.

What is therapy like with me?

I'm here to support you with a variety of challenges, but many seek me out to specifically help hardworking adults navigate the tricky waters of disconnected relationships, anxiety, and the failing pursuit of perfection. I get how tough it is when anxiety and overwhelm wrap their grip around you, making every day feel like an uphill battle. It impacts our relationships, how we feel and communicate, and just about everything else. It's incredibly frustrating and can leave us feeling paralyzed, irritable, and pissed at ourselves that we should be better at this stuff. Whether these feelings have been part of your journey for as long as you can remember, or they've sprung up amidst life's inevitable shifts—like career changes, managing the chaos of family life, or any other adult responsibilities—I understand. Worry and stress can quietly infiltrate every aspect of our lives, but I'm here to offer a helping hand.

Approaching therapy doesn't mean we have to stick to a rigid, formal script. I aim to create a space where you can be your authentic self, ready to face and work through whatever comes your way. My style is straightforward and adaptable, focusing on a mix of reflection and processing, skill-building, and practical application. With a foundation in evidence-based practices, I'm dedicated to providing support that's not only a listening ear. It is effective. My goal is for you to walk away from therapy with a lighter heart, new skills to take on life, and a hopeful outlook.

And yes, there will be some 'homework'—but it's designed to fit into your busy life, aimed at reinforcing the skills we cover without adding to your stress. I'm here to support your journey toward well-being, making it as smooth and manageable as possible.
